Creation adopt NetFinance for retail credit and account servicing
Intelligent Environments Europe Ltd - Tuesday, April 17, 2007
The deployment of the NetFinance platform is part of an ongoing programme of work between iE and Creation. Solutions for point of sale credit and online account management are being developed for launch during 2007.
Key to Creation’s decision to select the NetFinance platform was the straight-through processing capability of customer applications from whatever source – at home, in store, by post or over the phone. This minimization of manual workarounds and automation of risk and credit management will have direct business benefits: a customer will receive a credit decision immediately, receive their card quicker and be more inclined to shop with Creation’s partners as a result.
An additional business benefit which will soon be available to Creation is the ability to manage the branding and content of all its partner deployments in-house for all products using Montage - iE’s brand management tool. This offers Creation significant operational cost savings by enabling new partners, products and sites to be launched quickly without a dependency on IT resource.
Phillip Blundell, Chief Executive, iE, believes all banks must enable their Internet platforms to support multiple distribution channels. “Creation is leading the way in their approach to retail finance. Using the in-built business capability of the NetFinance platform, Creation can ensure quality customer service via multiple touch points – online, instore or by phone.”
Stephen Hunt, Managing Director – Sales & Development, Creation, said, “Creation’s philosophy centres on offering innovative products and services to our partners’ customers, wherever they are. Using the NetFinance platform enables us to launch new card programmes and products across a number of channels securely, cost effectively and quickly.” He added, “The multi-channel capability that iE offers also provides us with an additional sales capability to maximize new business revenue.”
